Though he had brought the age of darkness he was a kind man before that.(Read his lore) The Sanctuary was made for people who had lost their light in their souls to regain it. Though's who where made evil can be purified and have their once peaceful lives back. Those's who seek to destroy it are blocked out by a powerful barrier that does. The barrier is powered by 10 different pillars which can only be access by the ScorchWood family emblem.
